It's about that time of the year when you can wear a jacket everyday, and I absolutely love it.

The bomber jacket is a staple in my wardrobe. There are many variations to the bomber jacket. The style I prefer is a little puffy with nylon fabric and details such as a utility pocket on the arm. I love the silhouette of the jacket and how versatile it can be. Today I'm wearing a navy bomber from Topshop with black/navy Balenciaga arenas.

I have been getting a lot of questions recently regarding which brands I think have the best bomber jackets and where to find them. Personally, four brands that I think have the best bomber jackets are Alpha IndustriesFear of God, BLK DNM and Rick Owens. A good alternative (since those jackets can be pretty expensive) is H&M and Topshop, they're good quality and have a good price point to fit into anyones budget.

It's finally friday.

This is the perfect weather to start off the weekend after the continuous rain that made the days seem so mundane. I broke out of my “hat” shell today (since I rarely wear hats, and if I do it's a Just Don or a Yankees snapback) and wore a black fedora from Brixton. I kept the rest of the outfit simple and paired it with my favorite Saint Laurent boots.

I'm off to see my cousin get married today!

I love attending weddings (the very few that I go to), I get to spend quality time with my family, take a break from work and most importantly, it gives me a chance to dress up for once. I wore a black Calvin Klein suit with black velvet Del Toro slippers to mix up the fabrics. Walking through New York City in a black suit, it made me feel like I was back in 2010 with Kanye's Rosewood Movement, just without the tie.

I also want to take this time to talk about the importance of not only having a black suit in your closet but a well tailored suit at that. In this case, I was originally planning on wearing a grey suit, until I opened my closet and realized that I didn't bring it with me to college *sighs* This black Calvin Klein suit was my go-to piece. Any suit that you own should be tailored, that should go without saying. It hurts my soul when I see people wearing a suit that looks like this. When you put on your blazer, it should not look like a box. The blazer should be fitted and the sides of the midsection should be a little tight so it shapes your body better. Your pants should fit more snug than your blazer and should not have a bunch of folds at the bottom. The fit of your blazer and pants depends on your taste, but getting it tailored will improve your look. For more information about this topic, here is a complete suit rundown/guide that I have found helpful.

With that being said, happy Saturday everyone!

And The Weather So Breezy..

I think it's safe to say it's officially sweater weather.

The beautiful fall weather has kicked in! I can finally pull out all my jackets, knits, flannels and boots. This is my favorite time of the year, autumn in New York City is beyond gorgeous. I kept it achromatic and minimal today with this grey cable knit sweater I picked up from Topman and black Balenciaga arenas.

Nothing is better than a relaxing sunday am I right?

When it starts to get a little chilly out, the fall weather gives a different vibe and makes running errands a little more enjoyable in my opinion. Put together this outfit to go to a few meetings and grocery shopping.
Happy Sunday!
