Happy holidays and happy New Year everyone! I want to start
off this post by saying thank you to everyone who reads the posts and supports
me. I just started this blog a couple of months ago and it is crazy to see how
many of you read it. Can’t wait to see where 2015 takes us.
For New Years, I really wanted to dress up but keep it
casual as well. The top half of my
outfit was the more dressy part with a classic navy blazer with a white dress
shirt. On the bottom, I wore black-waxed denim to highlight the contrast of the
blazer/dress shirt and brown suede Chelsea boots to give it a more casual,
street feel while complementing the color palate. The Chelsea boots also break up the colors
and adds character to the fit (instead of a black dress shoe). I put on a tan scarf to give the outfit a 'pop' (since it is predominantly dark colors) and tie it all together. It also didn’t hurt that it kept me warm in this bitter weather *laughs*
I hope everyone enjoys bringing in the New Year!
