The Court

Hopefully this is the last time I will have to wear a jacket in a post… One day it feels like spring weather and the next it is right back to winter. Luckily enough, today was a perfect day for a tee and a light jacket. I wore a grey John Elliott tee with navy I Love Ugly Zespy pants and navy Balenciaga arenas. I also carried around a black light bomber jacket for when it started to get cold. This is the perfect color way for the “should be spring but not really” stages.

Incase you were wondering, these are the same pants I was wearing in the Yeezy Boost post. Not lying, these pants are extremely comfy to wear and walk around in. The fit is tapered which is perfect, and they will loosen up after the first few hours of wear if you’re not used to it. The zippers at the end of the pants are one of my favorite things also. It allows you to style it so many different ways, from unzipped, pin rolling to leaving it fully zipped. You can get these exact pants right here.

A New York Spring Break

For spring break, I didn’t travel to somewhere warm like Miami, Cancun or California… I spent it in at home, in New York City. (not a complaint)

It may have not been 90 degrees outside but it was sunny, peaceful and warm enough to put away the puffy jackets. Instead of an outfit with shorts and driving loafers, this is the New York version of what a spring break fit would be. I wore a white tee and light wash denim with tan suede Saint Laurent boots to give a chill summer vibe. I layered it with a black leather jacket and put on some silver accessories to compliment the bikers detail. Then I put on my favorite SLP sunglasses to complete the look.

Coming to a Close

Even though we’re still battling the winter, it is FINALLY starting to come to an end.

We all know how hard it is to dress good in this weather. Between the slushy, disgusting snow and the inconsistent weather, a pair of boots and a puffy jacket is the way to go. For this outfit I went for a simple, military/earth tone vibe. This green jacket from Carhartt is perfect for keeping warm (I wish I found it earlier *sighs*) while still looking fresh. With the green jacket, I wore an off-white Alexander Wang shirt with grey jeans. I paired it with Timberland boots to tie the whole outfit together and so I can run through the snow without worrying about beating them up. I also tied up the laces to give an “army boot” aesthetic.

What do you think of this outfit? Let me know in the comments below!

I think the snow and winter have overstayed its welcome…
Anyways, if you haven’t seen my latest Instagram post, I’ve fallen in love with this vintage army jacket. A lot of people have been messaging me saying “Ew… camouflage?!” but it is becoming more and more prevalent (even though it has always been around). With the military movement that has been going on (earth tones, combat boots, army style jackets) A camouflage army jacket is the perfect piece to have right now, especially to layer with for the winter. You can style it in so many different ways. All black, dark or light denim and some grey/earth tone shirts. I wore a black biker jacket layered over the camo jacket to break up the black and make it more prominent. I added black Saint Laurent boots to elevate the outfit while still giving an army/military feel.

What do you think of this military look? Let me know in the comments below!
